Sunflower Acquires Former Wendy’s Site to Expand Mission’s Residential Growth

Sunflower Development Group has announced plans for The Encore, a new 180-unit apartment community that will rise on the former Wendy’s site along Martway Street in Mission, Kansas.

Located just east of The Lanes at Mission Bowl, The Encore marks the final phase of Sunflower’s vision to revitalize the Martway corridor. The four-story project will feature rooftop amenities, a mix of one- and two-bedroom units, a connected parking structure, and lifestyle features such as a pool, fitness center, dog spa, and trail connections to Rock Creek Trail. With its distinct design and added amenities, The Encore complements The Lanes while bringing fresh energy and housing options to downtown Mission.
