Encore Multifamily Development Approved in Mission

The City of Mission has approved plans for Encore, a new 180-unit multifamily community by Sunflower Development Group that will further enhance the growing Martway corridor.

The approximately $52 million development will bring a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments to the former Wendy’s site near Roeland Drive and Martway Street. Located adjacent to The Lanes at Mission Bowl, the project will include a 241-space parking garage and 36 income-restricted housing units. Construction is expected to begin in October, with completion anticipated in 2028. The approval marks another milestone in Sunflower’s continued investment in creating vibrant, connected communities throughout Mission.
