Construction is nearly complete at the $150 million Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City, and the excitement is building. Slated to open this June with reservations available beginning in August, this vibrant new destination is set to offer a full resort-style experience just steps from the Kansas Speedway.
Developed by Sunflower Development Group in partnership with Homefield KC and the Margaritaville brand, the six-story hotel will feature 228 rooms, including 11 suites and the showstopping Jimmy Buffett VIP Suite with direct pool access. Designed with both relaxation and entertainment in mind, the hotel includes indoor and outdoor pools, a coffee and provisions market, an arcade-style family center, and a two-story LandShark Bar & Grill. Guests will also enjoy live music, yard games, fire pits, and signature drinks from the Five O’Clock Somewhere pool bar. With approximately 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space—including the Compass Rose Ballroom and multiple patios—this one-of-a-kind property is positioned to become Wyandotte County’s premier destination for conferences and celebrations.
