The Mission City Council approved $5 million in incentives for phase two of The Lanes at Mission Bowl, a project by Sunflower Development Group. The second phase will add 96 apartments to downtown Mission, with 20% reserved for lower-income tenants and plans for LEED certification.
Councilmember Trent Boultinghouse applauded Sunflower Development Group, calling them a “good faith entity” and commending their efforts to bring a positive project to the city. With the completion of the 170-unit phase one and now phase two underway, the Lanes are seen as a key development for Mission’s downtown revitalization. Public incentives include $5 million in tax increment financing and up to $22 million in industrial revenue bonds.
