Sunflower Moves Forward with Expanded Plans for The Encore in Downtown Mission

Sunflower Development Group is advancing a revised plan for The Encore, a 180-unit apartment community that will bring additional housing and new amenities to downtown Mission.

Located just west of The Lanes at Mission Bowl, The Encore will offer a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments, including affordable housing options for residents earning 60 percent of the area median income. The four-story development will feature a fitness center, outdoor pool, dog park, and a five-level parking structure with 241 spaces. The 3-acre site, formerly home to a Wendy’s, is part of Sunflower’s continued investment in the Martway corridor, alongside recent improvements to the Mission Mart shopping center and the opening of Sweat Lab by Fusion Fitness.
