Hedge Lane Apartments will be a 144-unit garden style apartment community in Shawnee, Kansas, in the heart of Johnson County. We will offer a combination of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Residents will enjoy in unit laundry, all modern appliances, Class A finishes and a swimming pool with clubhouse. This project is funded with 4% low-income housing tax credits, tax-exempt bonds and a $1 million long term loan from Johnson County, KS.
The target market is working-class residents in a fast growing industrial corridor along K-7 whose household incomes are at or below 60% AMI. We anticipate roughly 270-300 people will benefit based on unit mix.
