KC Star Tours The Grand

The Kansas City Star recently profiled one of our latest projects, The Grand. Located at 1125 Grand Blvd., The Grand is a luxury apartment building featuring modern amenities, high-end finishes and sweeping views of the downtown skyline.

Mark Moberly, Director of Development at Sunflower, gave the grand tour. The building’s lower level is home to our Club 1125 amenities lounge, which features a fitness facility, yoga studio, living room and movie theater. Whatever your interests, you’ll find something for you in this fun, relaxing space. 

Mark also showed off each of our floor plans. The Grand features studio apartments, as well as one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts. All units are pet friendly and there’s even an outdoor dog park on the second level of the building to let your pooch run free. This one-of-a-kind amenity reflects the level of luxury and convenience our team worked so hard to create. 

Finally, no tour of the The Grand would be complete without a visit to our rooftop pool. Surrounded by lounge chairs and barbecue grills, the rooftop pool is community space like no other. As a bonus, the pool is heated for year-round enjoyment. 

This historic preservation project was a multi-year effort for our team and we could not be happier with the result. We are proud to provide Kansas City residents with a vibrant, welcoming community right here in the heart of downtown.
