Homefield Partners discuss Margaritaville hotel plans

In late January, the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas, approved a revised development agreement providing for the additional STAR bonds in two tranches, to be unlocked once Homefield hits certain private investment thresholds, plus several deadline extensions for project components.

The Margaritaville hotel, to be completed in partnership with Sunflower Development Group, is to become the first full-service resort of its kind not just in Wyandotte County, but the state, Homefield representatives said.

The hotel will blend in indoor and outdoor water sports elements, such as lazy rivers and surf simulator.
