Sunflower Development Group recently signed on to help with the Metcalf 108 project. The final part of the major redevelopment plan will come to life a little later than initially planned as the Overland Park City Council approved an amendment earlier this week to the development agreement to delay the project’s completion timeline.
The project was initially meant to include large-space offices, but changed to mixed-use including roughly 220 apartment units, two stories of parking and some commercial space.
Under the new agreement, construction will start by the end of 2024 and complete by the end of 2026.
