For 35 years, Reconciliation Services has been working to turn Troost Avenue from a dividing line into a gathering place where the very best of Kansas City’s culture is on display, helping people in need.
It could have taken years to raise the money, but New Market Tax Credits (NMTC) gave the effort a significant assist. Reconciliation Services worked with Sunflower Development Corp. to assemble NMTC for the project. Enterprise Bank & Trust provided $8.5 million of the $60 million allotment of NMTC it received in September 2021. The project received $2 million more in NMTC funding from Capital One Bank.
