Block22 represents a unique public-private partnership that celebrates Pittsburg’s entrepreneurial history and builds toward its future. The complex features 105 beds of student housing and ground-floor retail, such as a business incubator, hacker-maker space and a coffee house.

Located at 4th and Broadway, Block22 is made up of four historic buildings. Once victims of urban blight, the buildings were prime targets for new development. Sunflower assisted the project’s developers, the Vecino Group, by delivering $18 milion in new market tax credits that improved the project’s feasibility and visibility within the community.
